HeartLine Programs
2-1-1
2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember phone number that connects individuals to non-emergency health and human services referral information. Launched in 2005, HeartLine 2-1-1 is available 24 hours a day and all calls are free and confidential. 2-1-1 is the best first call to make when you want to get help, or give help.
24/7 CareLine
Since 1971 848-CARE (2273) has been available to callers in need. Telephone-based volunteers trained in compassionate listening and crisis intervention are available 24 hours a day to offer acceptance and emotional support. Suicide Prevention Programs
HeartLine's Youth & Senior suicide prevention programs HELP and HALT provide outreach on suicide awareness and warning signs to targeted age groups. Oklahoma ranks 14th in the nation in deaths by suicide, and suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth ages 15-24. Seniors are the age group with the highest completion rate for suicide.
